Fire Safety

10/30/2017

Did your family do your fire safety homework? Our class was assigned two tasks as part of October's Fire Safety Awareness!

#1) Have a safe meeting spot- Where will your family meet with there is a fire? A neighbor's driveway? Your mailbox? A specific tree? Make sure you have a plan!

#2) Know what a firefighter looks like- Firefighters can be scary when they approach you in a fire. Their voices are muffled by their oxygen and their heavy gear makes them look different. Don't hide!! Make sure everyone in your house knows they are here to help! Follow the photos below to watch a firefighter change into his gear.
