Thanks for joining us this spring Miss Go. We loved Sharpening-the-Saw with you on Friday and really appreciated the personalized poems you wrote for each of us. We will miss you and look forward to your visits!
Over the last two days, we spent time in science dissecting owl pellets to learn about their habitats. Ask your child what s/he found and what that means about the owl's habitat!
As we study multiple perspectives in reading, we are learning how to take on the perspectives of different characters. Today we practiced doing that by taking on the perspectives of different insects. We presented two-voice poems written in first person about each insect's day-to-day experience. We even used some props to help us get into character!
Today we had a special presentation on how to help keep our Earth clean by reducing, reusing, and recycling. Choices we make each day truly make a difference!
