In science we've been learning about all the forces that shape the land. During this experiment, we saw how rain can erode the land and even put people in danger. Sometimes things like giant rain storms are outside of our control, but we can still choose to be proactive leaders who help keep people safe as we sought to do today. Things like this are within our circle of control. Look at these leaders teach the class! Four students led the class in an activity to create the pieces for our new bulletin board. Stop by and check it out! Today we had to say goodbye to a dear member of our class. Thank you to everyone for filling out goodbye book pages, planning a great party for her, and just for making her feel extra special.
Ask your second grader how s/he can defeat the unthinkables with superflex powers! We are masters who won the review game against the other classes at the end of our study. This awesome class picture with Superflex was our reward.
What better way to practice our money than by budgeting for supplies, building games, and paying to play each other's games? Today we learned all about the Iditarod, and we even had a special guest come share about his experience racing! Ask one of us all about the cool things we learned! |
