Good readers always ask questions before, during, and after their reading. We practiced this skill by filling our books with post-it notes for all our many questions. Look at how many things we are wondering!!
In science we've been learning about all the forces that shape the land. During this experiment, we saw how rain can erode the land and even put people in danger. Sometimes things like giant rain storms are outside of our control, but we can still choose to be proactive leaders who help keep people safe as we sought to do today. Things like this are within our circle of control.
